Fangoria has dropped a long-awaited release date for the highly anticipated RETURN TO SILENT HILL. The film, a reboot of the popular horror franchise, is set to hit theaters on April 21, 2023.
The announcement has sent shockwaves through the gaming and horror communities, as fans have been eagerly waiting for any news about the project since it was first announced in 2020.
Director Christophe Gans, who also helmed the 2006 film Silent Hill, has been teasing the film's progress on social media in recent months. In September 2022, he revealed that he had finished the film's storyboards and that the film takes inspiration from PT, the playable teaser for the canceled Silent Hill game.
