The statement reads, "Prime Minister Netanyahu did not speak to former President Trump yesterday or today."

Trump's Spokesperson Denies Report

Trump's spokesperson also denied the report, saying, "President Trump did not speak to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday or today. "

Axios Report Claims Conversation

The Axios news outlet reported on Thursday that Netanyahu and Trump had spoken on Wednesday about the Gaza ceasefire.

The report claimed that the conversation was "brief and cordial," and that the two leaders discussed the "importance of de-escalating the situation in Gaza."

Netanyahu Frustrated with Harris

In a separate development, Netanyahu reportedly expressed frustration with Vice President Kamala Harris's on-camera statement following their meeting on Wednesday.

According to The Times of Israel, Netanyahu was upset that Harris did not explicitly condemn Hamas, the militant group that controls Gaza.
