Woman with gunshot wound to the head resuscitated in Apeldoorn

Police are investigating after a woman was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Apeldoorn on Sunday evening

The victim, who is in her 20s, was found at around 11pm in an apartment on the Arnhemseweg

Police and ambulance services were called to the scene and the victim was taken to hospital, where she is currently in a critical condition.

Police are treating the incident as attempted murder and have launched an investigation.

No arrests have been made so far and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
