Former president Donald Trump the 2024 Republican presumptive nominee for President of the United States will choose his running mate at some point. Trump spends the early weeks of the general election in a Manhattan. Former President Donald Trump will announce his pick for vice president during the Republican National Convention in July he told News 12 in.

Here are all the top contenders to be Trump's vice-presidential nominee in 2024.

  • Tim Scott, Senator from South Carolina
  • Mike Pence, former Vice President of the United States
  • Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former White House Press Secretary
  • Nikki Haley, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations

Trump has not publicly stated who he is considering for vice president, but he has met with several potential candidates in recent weeks. Noem and Scott are both considered to be strong contenders, as they are both popular with the Republican base. Pence is also a possibility, as he has a strong relationship with Trump and is well-respected within the party. Sanders and Haley are both seen as rising stars in the Republican Party, and they could both bring valuable experience to the ticket.
